whats a chip resetter?

All current Epson ink cartridges have a computer chip in them that tells the printer when it’s out of ink. If you refill them with your own ink, you need to reset the chip, so it knows it’s full, using a chip resetter. Mine says SUPER STAR. Sorry it has nothing to do with potatoes or poker.
