Misjudge.

I bought a level. It was six dollars. It works fine, and I don't even care that it's practically glow-in-the-dark green. So I use it to hang a bunch more pictures in my livingroom. The problem is that nothing in my livingroom is level. So this line of pictures is theoretically parallel to the earth, but in relationship to my crooked walls, ceiling, and anything resting on my crooked floor, it looks like I hung them after pulling an all-nightter in the Mars Bar. Brooklyn. I'm open to suggestion.

Kick the building to settle the foundation, to even it all out. Hey, you didn't say it had to be a good suggestion.

I think 80 years of settling is the problem.
