Loopers.

I'm really sick of looping. This live sampling/layering technique is a musical hell for me. It creates static, repetitive music by definition, and it's "oh wow how is he/she doing that" response needs to run out of steam. Last nights show had a lot of that hell-making garbage, along with something I hate even more; playing along to tape or a computer. Some of the most soulless, soul-sucking sets I've experienced, and to quote the music teacher in Fame, "that's not music, that's masturbation."
